I found out about the FLASHFORGE Dreamer 3D printer during a visit to the Texas A&M Engineering Innovation center, and we have used it in our lab for a good while now. It is an impressive, high-quality dual extrusion 3D printer that provides a great user experience. Get it here!

Lenovo Phab 2 Pro  

Although there are many features that make the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro smartphone an enticing smartphone option, it is the support for Google Tango that really sets it apart. Google Tango is an augmented reality engine that uses the smartphone’s camera to see virtual elements over the real world. The Phab 2 Pro is the very first smartphone to come with Tango, making it interesting to anyone interested in the future of augmented reality. Learn more

Intel’s Falcon 8+ Drone   

Intel has unveiled its first fully Intel-branded drone, dubbed the Falcon 8+. It is specifically designed for industrial jobs, such as large construction sites. The drone is controlled by a waterproof cockpit equipped with a joystick and tablet, which is much more robust than consumer drones that interface with smartphones. Quantum Computing   

Peter Diamandis, engineer, physician, author, and entrepreneur says that we may see the release of quantum computers as early as next year. Quantum computing could have impressive implications in areas such as machine learning, medicine, chemistry, biomimetics and energy systems, along with material science and engineering. He says “when quantum computing pans out, we’ll be able to control the very building blocks of the universe”. Learn more
