Tech to Try

DJI Mavic Pro

The DJI Mavic Pro folds down to the size of a water bottle, boasts improved transmission range and vision positioning, and offers the 4k recording system drone lovers have come to expect. It further sets itself apart from competitors by offering collision avoidance as well. Check it out here!

Notable New Tech

DJI Drone Headset

At the same event that DJI unveiled the Mavic Pro, it also announced the coming release of DJI Goggles – the headset that allows users to view footage from a flying drone in first-person. This new wearable utilizes the company’s new OcuSync technology to deliver live video from the drone’s camera to both of the headset’s two 1080p displays. A single drone can also be synced to two individual headsets, so both wearers can see what the drone captures in real-time. Learn more

Adidas’ Futurecraft M.F.G. Shoes

Adidas is betting big on the robotic revolution and recently unveiled the first shoes created at the Speedfactory, a facility that is run almost entirely by robots. The shoe has been dubbed the Futurecraft M.F.G. (Made for Germany). More shoes will be made available when the factory goes commercial in 2017. Learn more

Elide Fire Ball

The Elide Fire Ball is a small three-pound ball that packs a powerful punch. When the ball comes into contact with extreme heat it explodes an extinguishing powder mixture that puts out any fire within close range. It takes no special training, has a shelf life of 5 years, and can detonate on its own if a fire occurs while you are not at home. Learn more
